- Economic growth of Singapore estimated that it will expand around 3.2 per cent next year.
- Total transaction activity in Singapore has hit US$55.4 billion so far this year, up 30 per cent from US$42.5 billion a year ago, data from American Appraisal showed on Thursday. Transaction activity includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, venture capital, and IPO deals.
- Oil prices slid on Wednesday, but avoided new lows, as dealers awaited US stockpiles data for an indication of demand in the world's biggest consumer of crude.
- Oil prices fell in Asia on Wednesday as dealers await the latest US supply report for clues about production levels, while weak Chinese and German trade data also weighed.
- Online financial services platform iFast Corporation has made a positive debut in early trading on the Singapore Exchange today.
